Charbon Noir Charcoal Stick is made by heating branches of sustainably harvested bamboo trees. Charcoal sticks can absorbs chlorine and other chemicals from drinking water while releasing natural minerals into it. Charcoal stick has an alkaline effect - it softens and improves the overall taste of water.

There are two formats available:

Charcoal sticks are an entirely natural alternative to other water purification systems, many of which use plastic. Additionally, using charcoal results in even better-tasting drinking water.

Depending on the water used, each charcoal stick will last for about three months. After that, it can be broken into pieces and used as a natural deodorizer, or it can be recycled in plant soil.

How to use: Important, first time, rinse with water, boil for 10 minutes and let dry. Reactivate charcoal every two weeks by boiling for 10 minutes and letting dry. Filtering time is approximately 3-4 hours.
